📝 Ingredients:

  • 500 g (3 1/2 cups) all-purpose or strong bread flour 🌾

  • 400 ml (1 2/3 cups) lukewarm water 💧

  • 2 tsp salt 🧂

  • 1 tsp sugar 🍚

  • 7 g dry yeast (or 15 g fresh yeast) 🍺

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 🫒

  • Semolina or whole wheat flour, for dusting 🌾


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Activate the Yeast:

In a small bowl, mix the lukewarm water with the sugar and yeast. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until foamy. 🍺✨

2. Prepare the Dough:

In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Gradually pour in the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix with a wooden spoon or your hands until a soft, sticky dough forms. 🥄

3. First Rise:

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a damp towel and let it rise at room temperature for about 2 hours, or until doubled in size. ⏳
