Instructions:

Mix the Filling: Combine pork (or chicken), cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper in a bowl.

Assemble the Dumplings:

Place a wrapper in your palm.

Add 1 tsp filling in the center.

Moisten the edges with water and fold in half to seal, pressing out the air.

Crimp the edges if desired.

Pan-Fry & Steam:

Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Add dumplings in a single layer and fry until bottoms are golden brown (2–3 mins).

Add 1/4 cup water to the pan, cover, and steam for 5–6 minutes until water evaporates.

Uncover & Crisp:

Remove the lid and let the dumplings crisp up for another minute.

Serve With:
A simple dipping sauce:
