While Logan, her 15-year-old son, was picking branches as part of his volunteer work, he felt a brief stinging pain as something pricked him.
Within minutes, a red, grid-like spot appeared on his arm, and in a short time, it had developed into a full-blown rash. The rash spread from his arm to his chest, and soon the area was burning with unbearable pain.
Not only that, but Logan also felt dizzy and turned pale. His mother washed the area and rubbed garlic on it to extract the venom (it’s often said that this is the work of insect bites). Despite all his efforts, nothing seemed to work.
It was Logan’s grandfather who located the insect that had bitten him. He put on thick gloves, put them in a pocket, and examined them more closely.
