  • 3–4 hard-boiled eggs (2 chopped + 1–2 for garnish)

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp mustard (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Cook the vegetables:
    Steam or boil the diced potatoes, carrots, and peas until tender but not mushy. Let them cool completely.

  2. Prepare the mix-ins:
    In a large bowl, add the cooled vegetables, chopped pickles, ham or chicken (if using), and chopped hard-boiled eggs.
