Seafood Mac and Cheese 🧀🦐

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. If necessary, peel and devein the shrimp.

  3. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain well.

  4. Transfer the cooked macaroni to a large mixing bowl.

  5. Add the sour cream and mix until all noodles are coated evenly.

  6. Add the crab meat and stir to combine.

  7. Finely chop the spring onion and set aside.

  8. Grate the white cheddar and mozzarella cheeses separately, then set aside.

  9. In a medium saucepan or skillet, melt the butter.

  10. Add the shrimp and sauté until just cooked through. Remove from the pan and chop slightly when cool. Add to the macaroni mixture.

  11. Add the chopped green onions to the same pan and cook until tender.

  12. Sprinkle the flour over the onions, stir well, and cook for about 1 minute.

  13. Slowly add the evaporated milk while stirring constantly, allowing the mixture to thicken.
