No Bleach, No Boiling! How I Made My Underwear Snow-White with Just 3 Spoons 🧺✨

3 minutes de lecture

Let’s face it: white laundry tends to lose its brightness over time. The frequent use of bleach might seem like a solution, but it can weaken the fabric, causing it to tear faster. And while boiling laundry is an old-school trick that works, not everyone has the time—or the giant pot—to make it happen.

After trying countless products and tips, I finally discovered a simple and gentle trick that restores the original whiteness of my underwear and light laundry—just like they looked 10 years ago!

🧪 What You’ll Need:

  • 2 liters of warm water

  • 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide (3%)

  • 1/100 teaspoon of ammonia (about 1 drop – be careful!)

  • (Optional): 1 tablespoon of washing powder (if the laundry is heavily yellowed)

🧼 Instructions:

  1. Mix the hydrogen peroxide, ammonia, and washing powder (if needed) into 2 liters of warm water.

  2. Submerge your white or light-colored laundry into the solution.

  3. Cover the container with cling film (this helps reduce ammonia fumes).
